I recently have acquired an Austin Shield, this apparently was used in the showrooms of dealers, maybe in the 40/50's.

It consists of cast a aluminium "knights head", and a large version of the later Austin logo, which is a shield. This sheild is divided into four sections, by a white cross, 2 of the sections show sheaves of grain, the other two contain diamonds. The above describes the company logo of about the A30/40 era, I think!

The whole thing is made in a flat form to hang on a wall, maybe about eight inches thick (from the wall). It stands about five feet tall and about three feet wide.

If you can locate the above mentioned logo, you can see the detail I discribe. But, alas, there appears to one more piece on either side, there is in fact, more mounting holes for these to attach. I do not have these!

I will take a photo of it and email it to someone should they be able to help me indentify it, and some more details. Give me your return details.
